The Orchard Theatre in Dartford

Established in 1983 a the behest of Dartford Borough Coucil and officially opened by His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent on 14 April 1983. The Orchard Theatre is a medium sized venue which seats up to 1025 people.

Hosting a wide variety of acts ranging from touring shows, West End musicals, classical music and contemporary dance, there is a good variety of of things to see. The venue itself is well designed, particularly the acoustics and you do get a sense of wonderment when entering the venue. 

Currently hosting "The Mousetrap", one of England's longest running plays which has played continuously for 66 years (in its West End home). Upcoming shows also include  Richard O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Show" and "Some Like It Hip Hop". 

For a rounded evening, you can also enjoy the Orchard's dedicated restaurant and bar which serves food before most performances as well as during intervals. It is possible to book a table which will be yours for the entire evening, including during intervals where you can have pre-ordered drinks waiting for you.
