Caring For Your Leather Hat

Keeping your Barmah leather hat in tip top condition couldn't be easier. Simply wipe the leather down with a damp cloth to remove dirt and grime. Once dry, apply our Barmah hat protective spray (available here) Ensure that the surface is uniformly dampened with the spray. Once fully dry again, your hat is ready to go, offering great protection from the sun (SPF50+) and the elements. If applied correctly, rain should bead off effortlessly (see picture). The spray also helps to preserve the leather, keeping it supple and in good condition, for a long time.

NB Never store or attempt to dry out your hat on a radiator or open heat source, as this can damage the leather, leading to premature drying and cracking.
