How long do Redback boots last?

This will depend on a number of factors including how often the boots will be worn, what environment they are being worn in, what will the boots be exposed to and how often the boots are cleaned and treated. We have customers with boots lasting 8+ years with good treatment. On average, we expect our boots to last between 2-7 years. Leather is a natural product and needs to be cared for accordingly. You can see our Redback boot care guides here:

How to care for your leather boots.

Are Redback boots waterproof?

Our boots are not waterproof. Keeping them properly waxed will minimise water penetration/ingress but the boots are not lined with a waterproof membrane and are not classified as waterproof.
